Favourite Planners, Favourite Planner Brands, Erin Condren, Happy Planner, Ella Iconic, Kikki-K

With the large selection of planners available on the market, it's not always so obvious to know where to start when looking for a new planner, so thought I'd share some of my current favourite brands.

Best known for their Life Planner, Erin Condren, is probably one of the most popular brands in the planner community. The classic planners are customizable with the option of three layouts, two colourways, and four coil colours. The covers are also interchangeable, which is a feature I really like, as I like switching mine out throughout the year. They also have other planners available including hardbound, monthly, and teacher planners.

Things to note: Check out the EC Insider points program for some great rewards, and discounts.

Similar to the Life Planner, The Happy Planner, is a great choice for anyone looking for a more affordable option. The planners are available in three different sizes, and as there are lots of different styles available, you're bound to find one that'll suit your tastes. Also, as the planners are held together by discs, it's easy to add or remove pages throughout the year, which is great if you're looking to add specific pages, or remove bulk.

Things to note: If you're living in Europe, check out UK stockists to save on shipping, and avoid custom charges.

While the previous two brands offer very similar planners, Kikki-K, offers beautiful ring bound planners, and diaries. The planners are beautifully made and of great quality, and can also be monogrammed which adds a really nice touch.

Things to note: I'd recommend checking out Etsy or Filofax for additional insert options, as the planners only come with monthly overview, and notes inserts. Also check out their mailing list, as they offer exclusive discounts throughout the year.

If you're looking for a more compact option, I'd recommend Ella Iconic. I only discovered this brand through Instagram at the end of last year, and their CEO of My Own Life Planner has quickly become my favourite planner to use daily. The weekly planner is beautiful, and is the perfect size for taking out and about. The layout is also well thought out, with separate monthly and weekly sections, and lots of notes pages at the back. As the planner is undated you can start using it at any stage throughout the year, and they recently launched three new beautiful shades including rose, violet, and teal. They also offer a daily dated option.

Things to note: The daily vertical columns on the weekly pages aren't the widest, and can sometimes be a little tricky to use. That being said, there is plenty of room to write below those columns, so you won't run out of space during busy weeks.

While the above are definitely my current favourites, I'm always open to trying out new brands, so if there are any that you'd recommend leave them in the comments below.
