I'm quite happy with my current planner stack, but I've recently been thinking about which planners I'd like to use for 2019, and wanted to share my thoughts as I do plan on making some changes.

I know that I'll definitely be getting a 12 month Erin Condren Life Planner, as I enjoy using sticker kits and like having them all together in one of these spiral books. I usually go for the vertical layout in the neutral palette, with a gold coil.

Then when it comes to a daily planner, I've been thinking of getting the Day Designer 2019 Daily Planner, as I really like the layout of the daily pages. There's a lot of room for writing down to dos and reminders, and I like that there are also hourly columns. However, there are a couple of things that I don't love about this planner, including the fact that there are very few notes pages, and that the planner is somewhat bulky. That being said it is still a great option, and one I'm really considering.

For my work and social media platforms, I've decided that I would like to have just one planner to organise everything. Realistically, I just need monthly spreads for schedules and editorial calendars, and notes pages to jot down all my ideas. So I've been eyeing the Erin Condren Deluxe Monthly Planner, as it comes with only monthly overviews and no weekly pages, and you have the option of adding up to 80 notes pages, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

The last option I'm considering, is to just go back to a ring bound planner for both my personal and work related tasks. I've been eyeing the Kikki-K Textured Leather Personal Planner Large for a long time as it's such a beautiful planner. I already own the personal size, and have liked using it in the past, and so think the larger size could be a good option. As I'd be able to make my own inserts, I could essentially put together my perfect planner that has separate sections for all of my projects.

I'm somewhat leaning towards just having an Erin Condren Life Planner and a Kikki-K ring bound planner, but all that could change by the end of the year and just wanted to share my thoughts as I've been thinking about it a lot lately.

EDIT: Monday 27th August:

I've decided to edit this post, as there are some new contenders that I'm really liking. I'm also considering going back to the Happy Planner, but will know better once they've released their 12 month line up.

I was in TK Maxx the other day, and came across some really nice A4 planners by the brand Eccolo. I haven't been able to find them online, so unfortunately can't share the link. The planner I found had a gorgeous pink cover with the words "Twenty Nineteen" in gold foil script, with a horizontal weekly layout on two pages. I really liked the paper in this planner, as it was really white and there was loads of room to jot things down. The only thing I wasn't too gone on, was the fact that all the monthly spreads were together at the front of the planner. It's a really good option, and the most affordable out of all of them.

The next option is the new Ella Iconic Spiral Ceo Of My Own Life daily planners that were just released today. I really love the layout on the inside of the planner, and that it's spiral bound with a band attached. I've been using the weekly version of this planner, and don't always have enough space to jot everything down, so switching to the daily version might work better for me. It's very similar to the Day Designer, but I prefer the monthly and weekly pages in this planner. The only things I'm not too gone on are the thickness of the planner (can't be helped, it's a daily planner) and I don't love the covers available. At the end of the day, the cover won't matter as much, if I love using the planner and I'm able to include everything I need on the inside.

Let me know in the comments if there are any planners or inserts that you'd recommend,
